Totally fabulous service from Steve. From the moment we made our first enquiry he was extremely helpful and... informative. The van itself was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed for a week of travelling. When we did need to contact Steve during our week away he was at the end of the phone to offer advice and guidance. Very much looking forward to our next trip!read more

I recently had my Ford Transit converted by Steve over the winter. Steve was very patient and helpful during the... decision making process - he laid out all the options for me with the pros and cons so that I could make an informed decision. He kept me in the loop with the progress of the van and I was impressed with the photos that Steve sent me throughout the conversion. I couldn't believe my eyes when I came to pick it up. It was like picking up a completely different van - it was cleaned and shiny and the interior feels very spacious and homely. Really outstanding workmanship and great attention to details. Words cannot describe how very very pleased I am with Steve's work. Cannot wait to take it out on trips! Thank you so so much Steve!!read more

I hired the Renault Majestic campervan for a weekend trip to Dorset in early October. The weather was a mixed bag, but... the van was great! Warm, comfortable and well equipped. Steve was prompt and helpful with communication and flexible with pick-up & drop-off times. My security deposit was returned the same day as drop-off. Absolutely fantastic service. Can't recommend Steve and Berkshire Campervan Hire enough. We hired a Globecar Vario... for the weekend. The van was great. Extremely well equipped and the tea and hot chocolate were a nice touch! Steve's help and advise was amazing and the speed at which he communicated by both email and text were second to none. All in all an absolutely seamless experience which helped make a fabulous weekend.read more

We hired a Fiat Rapido V66 Campervan from Steve Dunn, of Berkshire Campervan Hire. Steve was very helpful, patient and... knowledgeable about all aspects of the van, and was happy to answer any questions that I had. The van was very well equipped for two people to use, with kitchen appliances (except an oven), plug points, beds and a chemical toilet. Driving the van was simple, once you get used to the size of the van, compared to a car. We were away for two weeks, and had a very enjoyable time, largely due to the camper van. Had an absolutely fantastic week in the Pace Autocruiser van rented from Steve at Berkshire Campervan Hire. It was... spotlessly clean, super comfortable and kitted out with every bit of kit you could possibly need for a week touring round the UK. Very efficient booking and admin process and Steve even helped us move our stuff between car and van and back. Excellent experience. Have rebooked already for a week next summer.read more

We had a really excellent time in the Majestic campervan and it was perfect for what we needed, especially as it was... arranged so last minute. It was compact but comfortable and actually pretty easy to drive. We didn't use the stove so can't comment on that but having a sink and table was very useful and the bed was actually more comfortable than I thought it was going to be! Steve was great to deal with, very responsive and flexible to fit in with our plans so very happy with that. I would definitely recommend Berkshire Campervan Hire and if we ever needed a campervan in the future we will be back!read more

Steve was incredibly helpful and quick when helping us to book a van at short notice. It was brilliant and enabled us... to hire the van on the Saturday and be travelling Scotland on the Monday. The van itself was fantastic. Narrow enough for Scottish roads, big enough to fit us all in and the gas and electricity enabled us to be warm when in a campsite or wild camping. The rear view camera was priceless! Having a van was the best experience, as it meant that we could have all of the stuff we needed with us wherever we went. Brilliant, thank you Steve!read more

Anything said would not be enough to describe how happy I was with Steve and his services. Everything from the moment I... got in touch with him for the first time until the moment he dropped us off at the train station after returning the van was perfect. Steve was super responsive throughout the whole time and very flexible, doing everything possible to make us happy. Helped us with our choce of van and was supporting us throughout the entire journey, proaxtively checking if evsrything is alright with us.Sorry for all the questions you had to answer Steve :D . I got the Swift Mondial for 12 nights and it was perfect for 2 people. A bit older than the others, but did a perfect job. And all the information was given to us in advance, no hidden surprises. There was no mileage restriction and Steve's prices are unbeatable. Got my deposit back the next day. All you nice people out there - support the local small family businesses and have an amazing holiday ! Corporations and big rental companies suck!read more

My wife and I had a great 2 weeks stopping at a number of sites on our journey from Berkshire to the the N.E. coast and... back. An easy drive, good internal space and a comfortable bed that doesn't need making up each night! Would recommend the experience and for Steve's help and advice prior to us setting off making the whole trip a pleasurable one.read more

Never hired a campervan before, Steve was helpful, friendly and very informative, he talked us through everything we... needed to know to get us on the road - without any hassles! The campervan was spotless, comfy and cosy for our trip to the Lake District. we even hired their Kayak, which was perfect on the lakes for a small extra charge. Will definitely be using them again.read more
