Should you book with Berkshire Campervan Hire and not be able to fulfil your holiday due to COVID19 restrictions we will issue a credit to use before the end of 2022. This means that should the area where you live be in a Government Lock down or where we are based be also in Government Lock down then we would issue you a credit voucher to use before the end of 2022. Please note this doesn’t qualify should the area that you are visiting be in a Government Lock down.
To protect you our customers, visitors and our family, we are putting in place additional measures to avoid the risk of COVID19 transmission. We are following COVID-19 guidelines for our industry.
We will continue to handover campervans in person but will adopt the following procedures to avoid the risk of COVID19 transmission.
- Please sanitise your hands on arrival when collecting and returning campervans
- We are introduced virtual elements with our written campervan guides to our campervans handover to minimise the amount of in-person contact required.
- All of our handovers will be done outside.
- We will keep doors or windows of campervans open during handover wherever possible to increase ventilation.
Please maintain social distancing when on our site, both indoors and outdoors.
In additional to our usual cleaning of the campervans, we have introduced a Fogging technology that combats COVID10 and many other nastiness. (for more info on this product please let us know).
Viewings are by appointment only, you will be asked to provide contact details prior to viewing.
We will reduce potential contacts by scheduling collections, returns and viewings, so that only one party (family or bubble) arrive on our premises at one time. Please help us to do this by adhering to agreed collection, return and viewing times.
It is your responsibility to check and comply with the COVID-19 rules in force for your location at the time of your hire.
If any member of your party displays symptoms of COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to your hire start date, they should be tested for COVID-19 before your collection. In the event of a positive test please contact us to discuss re-scheduling your hire.
If any member of your party displays symptoms of COVID-19 while staying in one of our campervans, please inform us, immediately self-isolate and request a test. We should be informed of the test result; if negative, your hire can continue as planned. If positive, contact us to make special arrangements for returning the campervan in a way that will minimise risk of transmission for the rest of your party, ourselves and other hirers.
